My mixed media is a building of layers starting with acrylic paint in abstract form, adding papers, sometimes ribbon/lace, a variety of objects to apply form, heart-felt words, more paint and usually finished off with embellishments by hand.

These inspirational decor pieces feature semi gloss 4-color montage images with words of empowerment and adorned with little jewels of bling. Handcrafted, custom cut (thanks Chris!) and painted in venetian gold. Each is a unique one-of-a-kind treasure.
Feminine Art
I feel that we all are subconsciously affected by color and form and that it has the transformative power to be a healing agent not only for the receiver of the art but also the maker. I continue to do and share art that supports and empowers women.

This series is a fusion of energy and color bursting with joyful vitality, reminding me of the first pictures I took with my new camera at 8 years old of the beautiful flowers in my Mother’s garden.
